I absolutely love this coat. I had an ageing North Face McMurdo jacket, no longer waterproof, starting to feel very damp and I was getting cold in it on dog walks. This is a lot warmer, I love it has the elasticated cuffs on the arm, longer length and much better height up to the chin all helping keep in the warmth.
I wear large in most Finisterre. It fits well, on the snugger side, but XL seemed too big. I’m not sure I will get many layers under it, but potentially won’t need to.
If I’m being picky, extra branding on the chest would look good, zip closures on the chest pockets, and maybe an extra pocket. That aside I would happily buy another, certainly my go too in the winter now!
